Hailing from all corners of the globe – Australia, America and Germany, to be exact – the core nucleus of music/fashion/art/performance trio Chicks on Speed have made it their life’s ambition to turn heads. Since forming in 1997 at Munich’s Academy of Fine Arts, they’ve pushed the envelope on how music and art intertwine, and although initially lumped in with the high-fashion-meets-shock-value aesthetic of the electroclash movement, they’ve managed to remain relevant to this day by staying one step ahead of the pack.
