German production wunderkind Stephan Bodzin has the uncanny ability of being able to turn even the most staid of chinstrokers into sweating bug-eyed loonys, with his unique blend of tech-fused electronica leaving dancefloor destruction in its wake at every turn. Not content to tow the line with his studio work, Bodzin is renowned for his boundary pushing productions, which have so far been released on the cream of underground dance labels, like Get Physical, Gigolo, Systematic and his own Herzblut imprint. As the son of an experimental musician it’s no surprise that Bodzin displays such a progressive attitude and approach, and after visiting Australia for the first time in October last year he’s excited to be heading back next month. He’ll be debuting his new live show, giving punters a taste of how things are done ‘Bremen style’.
