STREAMING AUDIO INTERVIEW

Mark Pritchard has become something of an honorary Australian over the past few years, the Brit having based himself on our side of the pond after striking up a relationship with a local lass. Rising to notoriety throughout the 90s under a variety of pseudonyms, monikers and aliases, Pritchard has been known to release music as Global Communication, Harmonic 33, Jedi Knights, 28 East Boyz, Chameleon, Chaos & Julia Set, Link & E621, Mystic Institute, Pulusha, Reload, Secret Ingredients, Series 7, Shaft, Use Of Weapons and Vertigo. If you look up ‘Prolific’ in the dictionary you’ll probably see his picture.

In July he’ll be appearing on the Smirnoff Experience Secret Party tour along the east coast, playing his own solo set as well as an exclusive performance with longtime collaborator Tom Middleton as the Jedi Knights. The duo only get the chance to team up for the set once a year and it usually goes down in the hallowed halls of Fabric in London. Suffice to say, Australian crowds are in for a treat and lucky to see the Jedi Knights in action this far from Europe. Fresh from an overseas tour, ITM spoke with Pritchard recently.

Mark Pritchard plays Smirnoff Experience this July, the only way in is to win so head to www.thewayin.com.au to get your hands on tickets…
