STREAMING AUDIO INTERVIEW

When the offer came through to interview Sister Bliss my head immediately started buzzing with a million questions I’d like to ask. At the core of one of dance music’s most well known groups – mega-selling crossover success story Faithless – you know she’s a lady with quite a few interesting tales to tell.

I got to work researching my questions, and pretty soon had a page of things to ask. Then, I patiently waited for the call to come through at my allotted interview time… Turns out I needn’t have prepared anything, because once we’d said our “hellos” Sister Bliss barely stopped talking long enough for me to get a question in.

It’s refreshing to speak to an artist of Sister Bliss’ ilk that still sounds so grounded and down to earth. More often than not the platinum albums and #1 chart positions overtake any semblance of normality. But, talking with Bliss is more like a chat with your best mate than one of the scene’s most successful women.

With a new mix album out now, Night Moves (Godlike & Electric/Inertia), ITM’s Tim Hardaker tries to get a word in edgeways with Sister Bliss.

Nobody has hearted this, be the first Be the first!

Loved Faithless' last tour of Australia. Was truly one of the best concerts I have ever been to (and have been to a lot). Will not miss them if they come again.
