Although their name gives the impression they’re the type of guys to proposition your widowed grandmother on that over-60s cruise your family gave her for her birthday, within seconds of putting Walter Meego’s debut album Voyager on your stereo you’ll immediately realise they’re a world away from package holidays for seniors.
The electro-rock twosome of Justin Sconza and Colin Yarck are comin’ atcha straight out of Chicago, and they’ve toured the US with MGMT, VHS Or Beta and even our own darlings of indie-dance The Presets. Their album was released locally in September, and if we play our cards right we might just see them visiting us for a tour in the near future.
