There’s a new kid in town and they’re gearing up to go head-to-head with some of Australia’s biggest and most recognised clubbing brands. The Neon label is a brand new project for cross-over success story TV Rock – aka Grant Smillie and Ivan Gough – and they’ve already enjoyed several #1 hits on the ARIA Club Chart with their signings, including Zoe Badwi’s Release Me and Sidney Samson’s Riverside, the latter reigning in the top spot for a massive six weeks. Now it’s time for the label to launch volume one of their flagship mix compilation series Neon Essential, put together by label lynchpins TV Rock and fellow Melbournite Chardy, and we caught up with Grant to get his thoughts.
