After twenty years in the game, one of house music’s true champions, Armand Van Helden is showing no signs of slowing down. In the last 12 months the US club king has made repeat trips around the globe, returning to Australian audiences this February to play at the touring Good Vibrations festival.
On the studio front, 2009 saw Armand keep busy, hooking up with Fool’s Gold head honcho A-Trak to create the inescapable disco-revival project Duck Sauce.
Ahead of his arrival in Australia for Good Vibes, ITM booked some time with the house heavyweight to talk about his past twelve months, how he and A-Trak struck upon their Duck Sauce recipe and his party plans for Good Vibrations.
