STREAMING AUDIO INTERVIEW
2009 was a year of triumphs for Sydney party-starters Art vs Science. Top of the list has to be the #2 ranking of unabashed anthem Parlez Vous Francais? in the triple j Hottest 100, confirming these boys have truly crossed over. The trio’s high polling was no doubt helped by their ubiquity on the festival circuit. From a tent-filling slot in the early afternoon at Splendour In The Grass to main-stage glory at Parklife, they’ve had plenty of practice.
With Good Vibrations already notched up for 2010, Art vs Science will take a break from recording its debut album to climb aboard the Bacardi Express this month. They’ll also be going ‘Off The Rails’ with a couple of up-close-and-unhinged gigs. ITM’s Angus Paterson spoke to the rising stars to find out if it has all sunk in yet.
Art Vs Science plays the following shows with Bacardi Express this month.
Thu 11 Mar – Paddington Ale House, Perth
Fri 12 Mar – Live, Adelaide
Sat 13 Mar – Paddy’s, Albury
Thurs 25 March – The Tivoli, Brisbane
Frid 26 March – Club Coffs, Coffs Harbour
