After being exposed to proper house music through parties like Disco Kitchen & Stateside and through hearing internationals like Derrick Carter, Heather and Mark Farina (while locally Mike Dotch & John Hardy), John’s ongoing passion for music had now found a new style of interest. After collecting records for a few years, along with the inevitable purchase of turntables, he began by playing at club nights around Sydney, such as Yu, Sounds and Moneypennys.







Already, at the age of 21, John has supported internationals such as Chris Lum and Jim Barron of Crazy Penis while currently holding regular gigs at the Home, Globe, Art house, Home bar, Cargo, Water Shed, O Bar as well as being booked to play at a range of nights in Sydney such as Jam the box, Kink, Toasted and Deep Down. In the coming months John is looking to take his sounds interstate with gigs lined up in Brisbane and Melbourne.







John has also done work on the radio such as 2SER’s (107.3FM) Stereophonic Soulfood (with Illya) and Bondi Fm’s (88.0) Loft Society, the latter being done with fellow Break Even Crew DJ’s Andy Burge, Illya, Jilbert, Venturian and Mike Delahunty.
