Ashley Feraude is a 29-year-old Canberra based producer and DJ. He has musical qualifications which he attained by being professionally trained in classical and jazz music during his earlier years in Europe.



Ashley Feraude’s mix is a very good example of the sound and the flow that he showcases during his sets. It begins with the very soulful sounds of deep house and moves through to US garage, peaks at disco house and then gently returns back to a deep vibe. Just like he structures his sets, Ashley put together this mix to not only include the scope of his preferred dance music genres but also many of his favourite songs, (such as ‘Gonna make it’ by Kaskade, ‘Days like these’ by Kenny Lattimore and ‘Find what’s mine’ by Miguel Migs) and his favourite producers (which include Masters at Work, Jay J and Miguel Migs). In his own words, Ashley described the mix as being “a typical mellow set that I would play at a lounge, which I believe is great to enjoy while getting together with friends or to have a dance to. Considering that many people listen to these mixes at home or at work, I also aimed at making it contain a lot of emotion and soul so that it could be a pleasant soundtrack to everyday life.”
