Ian Nearhos has become one of the first ports of call for local support for touring internationals. These include Steve Lawler, on the Global Underground Lights Out Tour, and Sasha on the Airdrawndagger Tour.



He has also solidly earned his place with regular spots at the major Queensland events in 2003 including having played the main room of Slinky on New Year’s day, the Two Tribes Festival, the Advent*jah Festival, ReAnimator and being flown up to Great Keppel Island to play at the Ibiza style ‘Ocean Dance’ island party.



Ian is also Brisbane Editor of www.inthemix.com.au, and last year was given the honour of being invited to judge the state finals of the Channel [V] DJ competition, solidly cementing his place in the Queensland scene.



A man on the move, Ian is set to take further steps into Production. After the success of his first step into making his own music – a remix of Paul Mac’s “Just the Thing”, which received critical acclaim from Triple J as part of the hugely successful Noise Remix Competition, Ian’s enthusiasm for production has continued to grow.
