“Hip to house” is the newest mix to come from Moe. It is the truest definition of all the styles of music that he plays and has been influenced by over his 8 years of mixing; from jazzy hip hop, gangsta, and funk, right through to disco breaks, deep house and funky house. This mix aims to show the diversity which Moe is known for (he aint just a old school hip hop guy!) it is an 80-minute 47-track journey that builds and builds.
At just 21 Moe has established himself as a new force in the club scene along with many elite up and comers incl. John glover, Tim culbert, Moneyshot, Jonny powell, Ben Morris etc. Moe has played at nearly all the major club nights in Sydney and has recently seen him travel to Melbourne to show his dj skills. Moe has played at Sublime and Together at Home, Fridays@ Gas, Kink, ear candy @Yu, Ffour, clean and serene, Sounds on Sunday, the bourbon, Sweetchilli, the Globe, Q bar, the Roxbury, Homebar, World bar, Minc lounge, Lo’tel, the cave, Suzie q’s, Candys apartment and official dj for Red bull at both the eastern and Australian uni games and the list goes on. Through his musical diversity, Moe has supported many groups and acts incl. Katalyst, pnau, butterfingers, morganics, ozi battla, Maya Jupiter and soon, Elation (the resin dogs).
You can also hear Moe on Saturday nights on FBI radio 94.5fm where he regularly hosts the ‘crate diggers’ program from 6-8pm.
