Will Saul is A&R for Simple Records, a label that embraces breakbeat, deep house, electro, techno and broken beat. With its 7th release, Simple is one year old [Feb ‘04]. Will’s wide ranging influences and eclectic DJing techniques have enabled him to develop a unique style fusing broken beats of all tempos. His debut single ‘Fast Lane’ and follow up ‘Cliff’ won acclaim from breakbeat, electronica and house artists. Remixed by Fink and Infusion, they were praised for their strong groove and subtle production. Will’s third 12” on Simple will be ‘Malfunction’ remixed by Meat Katie and out in May. He has signed his single ‘Swoop’ to Ali B’s label Air (due out in May/June). Will recently remixed Evil 9 for Marine Parade alongside label mates Precision Cuts and has produced a track exclusively for Meat Katie’s Bedrock Breaks compilation.
