Doctor Jane is a versatile DJ who plays a range of different styles of music. These range from ass-shaking, funked-up house and breaks, dark and filthy electro, through to hard-edged trance and techno. In the last year Jane has cemented a reputation for her tough sexy sound and her energy behind the decks. Highlights of 2004 included Doctor Jane’s first interstate gig, which was also her biggest gig yet, where she played a dark and sexy closing set to a crowd of around 2000 people at the Earthcore Carnival in Victoria at the end of November. She was also the first female to make the finals of the annual Plastic DJ competition.
