DJ Josh has become an institution and a major part of history for both the South Australian and Australian dance music scene. Her humble beginnings started at the Mars Bar back in 1984 where she scored her first resident gig by bluffing her way into the DJ box. Since then she has clocked up 1000’s of hours DJ’ing in clubs spanning not only in SA but nationally in Melbourne, Sydney, Hobart, Townsville, Brisbane, Cairns, Darwin and internationally in New Zealand.

Some of her most memorable gigs include headlining the Horden Pavillion at the 2005 Sydeny G/L Mardi Gras, RHI pavilion at the 2003 Sydney G/L Mardi Gras, headlining the 2003 Sydney Sleaze in the Hordern @ FOX studio, Kylie Minogue’s Private “Meet and greet party”, an appearance and interview on ABC TV’s Recovery, Channel V’s ROOM 208, and Channel V’s Peak Hour (a 1 hour special celebrating 20 years “Future Vision”).

Her amazing career has seen her play alongside Dave Clarke, Paul Van Dyk, Sasha, Darude, Sister Bliss, Dave Seaman, Judge Jules, Lisa Lashes, 4 Strings, Blutonium Boy, Ultrasonic and The Warp Bros.

Her favoured resident + Guest gigs have been – Ice box, ARQ, GAS and the Greenwood Sydney. La La land (Hobart), Rise, Heaven, Soda Room, Dreamers SA (the rest too numerous to mention). Radio Gigs include NOVA FM and FRESH FM.
