Originally from the steel city of Newcastle, Jimmy packed up his bags in 2000 and headed for the city of smog, smoke machines and strobe lights in search of a career. Having listened to a Ministry of Sound compilation, he soon realized there was more to dance music than just “doof”. With this in mind he decided to explore what to him was a relatively new sound. He soon found himself grooving away to the sounds of Sweetchilli at the old Dendy, which still rate as some of the best clubbing nights he’s had in Sydney. Never a person to take anything too seriously, Jimmy plays a variety of styles ranging from tech, progressive, breaks and even has a small collection of DnB and Trance.
