Don’t forget that voting for the Technics Inthemix50 Poll is still open! Head to http://www.inthemix.com.au/50/2006/

Originally from the steel city of Newcastle, Jimmy left behind what seemed to be a prospective golfing career in 2000 and headed for the big city in search of bigger and brighter things. Having listened to his first Ministry of Sound compilation, he soon realized there was more to dance music than just the “doof”. With this in mind he decided to explore what to him was a relatively new sound. He soon found himself grooving away to the sounds of Sweetchilli at the old Dendy. He soon witnessed international DJ’s such as John Digweed, Sasha, James Zabiela, Danny Howells and Satoshi Tomiie as well as the local talent of Mark Dynamix, Tim McGee and Robbie Lowe. Never a person to take anything too seriously, Jimmy is a versatile DJ who plays a wide range of music to get the crowd rocking. Expect to hear a musical montage of tech house, progressive, breaks and a dash of electro.

Jimmy’s ambition is to perform at club nights that have inspired him, alongside DJs who have done the same whilst maintaining and expanding his existing fan base.
