20 year old Eddie Sydney Piddington – DJ ESP is taking Sydney by storm with his Bootyshakinassfukn Tech-Elektro & Hardhitting House.
After conquering the Blue Mountain club scene at 18 ESP moved to Sydney to escalate his DJ career. He was regarded as one of the Blue Mountains top DJ’s. Now after living in Sydney for only a short time, ESP has been awarded 2005’s upcoming DJ of the year at the MDMA’s, has won the 2005 Northside DJ comp as well as the 2005 inthemix and Gusto Productions DJ comp, nailed a runner-up spot for the 3D World Best Upcoming DJ award and had a slew of media attention to boot.
After a short time in the Sydney club scene ESP has unleashed his mayhem at top venues including Home, Space, SoS, Havana, DragonFly, Club 77, The Laundry, Space, Candy’s and a tonne of the capital’s best bars as well as holding a residency at World Bar.
ESP has supported some of Australia’s & the World’s biggest names in the music industry including the likes of Free Form Five, He Kandi, Kosheen, DJ Spooky, Tayo as well as locals Mark Dynamix, Boogs, Ajax, Ben Morris, Nino Brown and heaps more.
ESP has always had a strong passion for the promotion and organisation of events. He started off promoting U18 Dance Parties at the age of 16. Now he has progressed to doing promotion for the likes of: Ministry Of Sound, Home Night Club & Jam Music.
With this in mind when playing, ESP does a lot of promotion for the event/night. Throughout 2005 he has put together discount door lists in excess of 200 people which was a great success for the club and himself.
Eddie Sydney Piddington follows in the footsteps of his late father – the show business entrepreneur Sydney Piddington who rocked the world with his ESP show which drew a record breaking listening audience on London’s BBC Radio of 22 Million!
