After his highly acclaimed album releases on Soma Records, Incommunicado (2005) and Paradolia (2006), and a string of killer twelve inches on coveted label Vakant from Berlin, Alex has quickly climbed the ranks of the techno elite and is consistently placed in lists alongside the best minimal and techno producers the world over. Alex has just released Sci.Fi.Hi.Fi Vol. 3 (November 2006) on Soma Records, assembling an expansive selection of tracks that perfectly define his influences and style – from unreleased Smoke material to forgotten classics from legendary producers like Basic Channel, Juan Atkins and Robert Hood, to modern electronic pioneers, including Claro Intelecto, Thomas Brinkmann and Troy Pierce.

Having remixed the likes of Mylo, Alex Under, Vector Lovers, Steve Reich, Junior Boys, Depeche Mode, Funk D’Void, Slam and Andre Kraml, Alex is in huge demand as a producer, remixer and DJ, even putting together a live mix for the massively popular âEssential Mixâ on UKâs BBC Radio One earlier this year. He has already toured the world over; playing some of the most highly regarded clubs and Festivals across the UK, Europe, USA, Russia, Japan and beyond. His live sets are the stuff of legend.
