At 23, James Frew’s DJing and production has already earnt him massive repect in the Drum & Bass scene worldwide. Since recently returning to Sydney from the UK and Europe, he’s been on a new sonic mission altogether. He’s been writing, bootlegging, and collecting an arsenal of bass heavy, party rockin’, tech-electro dance floor weapons. His up-front, infectious take on house music, and rapid fire mixing style has even the most blase bodies bouncing to his bass lines.

With 5 years in the game and not content with just being a (kick ass) DJ. Frew has had a talented finger in almost every music industry pie. These days it’s mostly in DJing and production, but he’s also had great success promoting locally, touring international artists and even found time to study at the Conservatorium Of Music.

Known throughout Sydney as the man behind the famous “Lost In Jungle” parties. He hosted, organised and rocked massive parties at Space, The Globe, The Dendy, and The Prince Of Wales Hotel (Melbourne). He went on to orgainse the “Word Of Drum n Bass” national tour. After securing sponsorship with street wear label “Eighteen People”, Lost In Jungle successfully toured UK Drum & Bass heros Twisted Individual, DJ SS, Killa Kella, and MC Trip.

With his new single “Shake With It” coming out on Vacation in February, and his DJ mixes pricking up ears all over town, fRew is officially back in Sydney, and ready to make some noise.
