Having recently relocated to Europe, Luna is now in Ibiza as an ITM editor-at-large, contributing to our brand new dedicated section throughout the summer. She recently put together a mix for your listening pleasure, inspired by the glorious sunsets and sunny days of the legendary Spanish Isle!

Luna’s Biography

Half Australian, half Italian, Luna has relocated to Europe from Sydney and is currently in Ibiza, Spain. In 2006 she ranked 37 on the Shejay.com Top 100 Female DJ Poll, and she’s has traveled abroad playing in China, London and Spain.

Luna’s style blends from tech to deep house, influence by techno and electronic sounds that always holds a groove. In 2007 alone she supported Booka Shade, DJ T, Yousef, Mike Monday, Jo Mills, Claude Vonstroke and Clive Henry. Luna has been working on her own originals using Ableton and the remix project Slugz and Jugz with Australian producer Hook n Sling saw both tracks reach the Australian Aria club chart. Their sound is a blend of Luna’s tech-house bleeps and Hooks dark club beats.

Not only has she been mixing for 8 years, Luna has had the experience of working for SONYBMG Australia as a International Product Manager, Director to her own records label Eyelash records, record store 12” buyer, radio DJ, assistant sound engineer and plays electric guitar…and the cow bell. In 2005 Luna traveled abroad for the first time playing in Castellon de la Plana (North of Valencia), Spain for the loco free beach party Electrosplash, playing along side influences M.A.N.D.Y., DJ T and Booka Shade.
