Currently ranked #4 in Queensland and #49h Australia wide on the 2006 inthemix50, Raye bases himself at weekly Friday and Saturday night residency Platinum Nightclub in Broadbeach on the Gold Coast. He also holds a weekly Saturday night residency in Brisbane for uber clubbing brand Kink. He regularly plays guest spots throughout Queensland, including Elsewhere, Berlin Lounge, Empire, Play, Motown, amongst others. He’s also made the venture down south, playing to date at Sydney clubs like Yu, Smut, Mylk and Excess. He’s also played Summafieldayze (2004 / 2005 / 2007), BBQ Breaks (2007), Good Vibrations (2007), Enchanted Forest in Adelaide, and more. His main preferred style is indie/electro-tech, but dependent on the gig and crowd his sound also ranges from quirky fidgety house, nu disco, tech house and big roomish electro. He’s had the opportunity to play alongside some of the most talented acts and DJs in the scene, including Cassius, Chris Lake, Sasha, Switch, King Unique, DJ Falcon, Sharam Jey, Tommie Sunshine, Play Paul, Roger Sanchez, Tom Novy, Ewan Pearson, Paul Harris, Tim Deluxe, Luke Fair, Xpress 2, Sarah Main, Benny Bennasi, MYNC Project, Spencer Parker, Dirt Crew, CJ Bolland, Princess Superstar, Darren Emerson, Groove Armada, Yousef, Tiesto, Moguai, and many more.
