Co-founder of successful Sydney event company RIF Productions, Rafael Gimelstein, aka DJ RifRaf, is promoting and playing weekly at parties, festivals and one off events at home in Sydney and internationally. Rif Raf has previously toured across the UK, Lithuania, Czech, India, Seychelles, Thailand, New Zealand, Switzerland and the rest of Europe. To name a few highlight events, there’s world famous Indian superclub “Elevate”, “Zenzi Bar” in Bombay, “Mecca” in Prague and the “Techno Valentino Festival” in Lithuania. He featured at the Mercedes Australian Fashion Week in 2003, as well as at Tel-Aviv’s “Maxim” and “Pacha” club.

Rif Raf merges weird future electronic-funk with minimal, electro, tech-house and breakbeat influences. He is a very diverse DJ and two separate film companies have produced short films about his musical career. Rif Raf holds residencies at the Bunker, Sando’s and the Abercrombie in Sydney. He’s headlined the Earthdance Festival mainstage since 2000, both at Sydney Park and Melbourne’s Federation Square. In Australia Rif Raf is known also for his involvement both in organising, producing and playing at some of Australia’s most exciting festivals, such as Newtown Festival, Outback Eclipse Festival, Summer Dreaming, Rainbow Serpent and Surry Hills Festival.
