Canberra’s The Aston Shuffle are dangerous. In under a year they have pioneered a sound, remixed some of the years’ biggest club records as well as creating a genuine buzz with their productions locally and abroad.
In 2005, after being friends and associated production whores, Mikah Freeman, Vance Musgrove and Ross McGrath started their digital label project, dubbed The Aston Shuffle. What started off as a group effort to get their previously unreleased tunes to the masses has skyrocketed, and in 2007 the group find themselves heavily in demand for their white hot remixes – a little electro, a little techno, but all house. When the swing on their tunes hits the dance floor you’ll be more than pleasantly surprised how hard it is keep your body from going retarded.
With kudos and support from the likes of Claude VonStroke, Tommie Sunshine, Micky Slim, Yuksek, Malente, and Bang Gang DJs, the Aston Shuffle have developed a sound that has many itching to champion. For Everyone is the much anticipated debut single which conjures such word as ghetto, french, fidget, bounce, jackin, electro and booty. For Everyone is everything that we expect and more containing bleepy hooks that will turn into a 2008 club and radio dialect.
