Robbie Lowe is a laid back surfer and is known as one of the most down to earth characters in the Australian dance industry. Robbie’s not only a true music enthusiast but also a producer, a promoter and a professional DJ with a career that spans a decade. His sound and sets have been influenced over the years by the entire spectrum of house music. Along with touches of techno that employ his trademark bass-lines, Robbie’s sets are ones that consistently have the whole floor moving.

Robbie is an expert at playing the right track at the right time. From warm-up sets at underground parties through to headlining the country’s biggest events and closing sets at outdoor festivals, Robbie is aware of the direction the ship needs to be heading and plays accordingly. The forgotten art of DJing… Having played alongside elite artists for years and at many of the world’s leading clubs, Robbie’s talent and achievements are clear. With his production ear now firmly in place and with two successful releases already under his belt, be sure to stay tuned as one of Australia’s ambassadors for underground music pushes his envelope further.

Colour is a mix series inspired by Robbie Lowe and Tim Culbert. It will feature 4 mixes covering the more colourful side of deep and tech house. Robbie’s first installment – 1.4 – takes a journey through some of the finest dance music around the globe at the moment. Keep an eye out for Tim’s mix which will be floating around in February.
