Miss Kittin first came to prominence in the early electroclash music scene of the late 90s. In particular, her collaborations with Felix Da Housecat, most memorably on “Silver Screen Shower Scene” and with long term music partner The Hacker, which saw such genre-defining underground hits as “Frank Sinatra (Is Dead)” and “1982” blaze a trail of glory in underground dance music.

Miss Kittin is set to release her 2nd solo album, ‘BatBox’ – two years in the making – comprises thirteen original songs, all composed whilst touring extensively throughout the world. A true individual with the substance to support the uncompromising attitude she is recognised for, BatBox is bursting with signature style Kittin observations on modern life.

“BatBox is a redemption,” explains Kittin on the two year incubation period in which the album was recorded. “Let the bats in my head fly out. I was saying goodbye to old ghosts, allowing light to reduce the shadows and fight the dark. It was like opening a window on new perceptions – not with my eyes but through intuition, just like bats and cats do.”

BatBox will be released wholly independently on Miss Kittin’s label, NOBODY’S BIZZNESS. Always ready to rewrite the rules of the game and forge her independence, the album is clear evidence of an artist at the peak of her musical and lyrical creativity. You have been warned!!
