As summer comes to its inevitable close, Smirnoff Experience’s Area 21 stage popped up again recently, this time at the Future Music Festival in Brisbane and Sydney. Throughout summer Area 21 featured at Summadayze, Summafieldayze and Kiss My Grass, fast gaining a reputation for headline DJs playing unexpected sets away from the mainstage… and away from their known style.
Tony Venuto has definitely made his mark in the Sydney club scene, a lover of house music and with a passion to entertain, Tony picked up his first turntables at the age of 15. Now at the age of 23 Tony has played at some of Sydney’s biggest venues in front of thousands of people. Eight years of hard work and perseverance cannot be ignored as he has the ability to so effortlessly turn a club upside down with booty shaking havoc. A typical set for Tony is packed with a superb selection of all the freshest tunes. Having experienced almost a decade of house music Tony has adapted to all styles, from sexy soul, deep, tech, breaks, progressive, and electro to that driving and jacking sound. This is one DJ that has unquestionably earnt his stripes and is now resident at one of Sydney’s hottest club nights, Onelove, playing alongside some of the biggest local and international acts in the industry. Tony’s eagerness to grow and evolve in this business has gotten him involved in production and remixing, it won’t be long till you will be hearing Tony’s own signature style blasting out of your local sound system. He may be little but he certainly packs a punch when it comes rockin a dance floor, an all-round entertainer Tony Venuto is truly the people’s DJ.
