As summer comes to its inevitable close, Smirnoff Experience’s Area 21 stage popped up again recently, this time at the Future Music Festival in Brisbane and Sydney. Throughout summer Area 21 featured at Summadayze, Summafieldayze and Kiss My Grass, fast gaining a reputation for headline DJs playing unexpected sets away from the mainstage… and away from their known style.

Giv started off just like any other clubber… on the dancefloor, which in turn led to a desire to be behind the decks delivering music to the people. Among the list of Australia’s credible clubs at which Giv has held successful residencies are Berlin Bar, Baja, IsoBar, So Bar, Meeting Place, Quest, Platinum, La La Land (Byron Bay), Soho (Cairns), Empire (Brisbane), and elsewhere. He has also been invited to play guest spots at Family (Brisbane), Qbar (Melbourne), One Six One (Melbourne), Casino (Cairns), C-Moog (Byron Bay), Tank (Sydney), Ambassee, Disco Bar and Fame. He has supported some heavyweight international and national DJs such as Jona (Get Physical), Jesse Rose, MSTR KRFT, Sandy Rivera (Kings Of Tomorrow), Jason Herd, Lawn Chair Generals, Boys Noize, Paul Jackson, Hyper, Sharam Jay, Karl Kennedy, Hippe-e, DJ Rasoul, Freestylers, Freq Nasty, BLIM, Rob Melo, Audio Bullies, Kenny Dope and many more. He has also played at numerous festivals, such as Summafieldayze, Two Tribes, Big Day Out, Good Vibrations, Super Freaky Kinky, Splendour in the Grass and the Future Music Festival.
