There’s no rest for Robi Insinna aka Headman. 2007 saw the producer extraordinaire touring the globe all over; from London to Sydney, dropping remixes for the likes of Chromeo, Punks Jump Up, The Gossip, Zombi Nation, Poney Poney and Roxy Music, establishing his very own label Relish Recordings and recording a new album!
Headman’s third album ‘Catch Me’ was recorded in the infamous Hansa studio’s (where David Bowie, Depeche Mode, Japan and Iggy Pop have all recorded in the past) and as always, 2 steps ahead, the new album show’s a new dimension in Headman’s production, he mingles his trademark punk-disco style with indie ethos and sonics coupled with kickin’ electro beats.
Featured on the album are club bangers; ‘Running Into Time’ which features new wave rapper Don Cash and ‘Catch Me If U Can’ featuring the sweet voice of long time collaborator TARA, both are tracks are certified club hits with Soulwax, Kissy Sell Out and more all showing love. ‘Catch Me If U Can’ also appeared on the recently released ‘Kitsune Maison ‘Boom Box’. The album also features Jeremy Kerr of legendary band A Certain Ratio on the standout ‘Dreampieces’.
