After starting as a DJ in 1989 and working with a hip-hop crew in his native Austria, Nick packed up his turntables and relocated to the sunny shores of Australia over a decade ago. He has been heavily involved with the local music community and club culture since, as a DJ & producer (MetaBass, Foreign Heights), promoter (StepForward!, Boogie Down, Make It Clap!), radio host (2SER, FBi, ABC) and music workshop tutor. Nick was the first hiphop DJ in Australia to sign a major label deal for a DJ-mixed album (‘Blazin’ Vol 1 / Universal Music, 2003) and has since released a number of other albums, compilations and singles. Throughout the course of his career he has performed at an overwhelming amount of major festivals, nightclubs, corporate events, international movie launches, fashion shows, TV shows & music awards.
