Andy Murphy is Melbourne’s latest rising star at just 23 years of age. With his own signature sound of house and electro, he pulls in the crowd at every gig he plays at. Born in Melbourne and with a mild obsession for music, Andy began DJing at the age of 18 after discovering clubs and falling in love with house music. He polled in at a staggering #28 in the ‘inthmix DJ Top 50 – 2006’ and a massive #16 in 2008 proving he’s already made his mark on the scene, as one of the country’s most aspiring DJs. Most recently Andy has toured the United States playing gigs in Miami, New York and LA, including Steve Aoki’s famed Dim Mak @ Cinespace in LA. Andy’s immense musical talent and taste for quality music, meant that it was not long before Andy would be playing at exclusive gigs. With residencies at some of Australia’s biggest club nights, Andy plays weekly at onelove (Voted: ‘Australia’s Best Club Night’) in the main room in Melbourne, as well as various gigs around the country.
