Hubert (Aka Hugh Foster) is Canberra’s new kid on the block, but with only 2 years under his belt he has already had the pleasure of supporting international industry heavyweights such as Deadmau5, DJ Falcon, Freestylers, Will Bailey and Funkagenda, and national heroes like Hook n Sling, Kid Kenobi, The Funktrust Djs, Sam La More, Riot In Belgium, and The Aston Shuffle to name a few. Showing his versatility, his sound has shifted over the years from breaks to a throbbing Electro/Tech sound more recently, but he has always had his mind firmly set on rocking the party with big tunes throughout. Hubert’s skills have seen him hold down a Friday night residency at Canberra’s premiere underground club, Lot33, for the past two years. This is where he met Mikah Freeman and with Mikah’s help, he fine tuned his DJ skills and developed his own sound. Hubert’s life is all about music, when he’s not DJing in the club, he is working hard with his club night ‘Pang!’ The club is based at Lot 33 and has featured some huge international and national artists and is one of Canberra’s leading club nights. So to say the least Hubert is a very busy man, and one of Canberra’s rising stars of the future!
