One of precious few DJs who prefers to let the music do the talking, Micah’s humble approach, and endless amount of energy behind the decks has proved popular with the Perth dance music community, establishing him as one of the cities and indeed the countries leading DJs. Voted best breaks DJ at the 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006 & by a huge 47% of the overall votes in the 2007 Perth Dance Music Awards. Ranked 1st for WA and 22nd nationwide in the inthemix top 50 DJ poll 2007, moving up from 24 nationwide in 2006. Winner of the 2004 Heineken DJ competition in Western Australia. He was also one of the winners of the 2003 Noise festival DJ mix competition playing a set on triple Js mix up program. Beats that break or four to the floor; Micah can be heard playing a range of genres, but breakbeat will always be his first love. Often mixing on 3 decks and bringing an energy and a connection with his audience so often forgotten as being the most important function of a DJ.
