The name Shamus is synonymous with house music in Sydney. A perennial inclusion on inthemix50 Australian DJs, Shamus is one of only a handful to be included on all polls to date peaking at #13 in the country. His unique connection with the crowd and desire to entertain at all times has led to a dedicated and passionate fan base. His current residencies include the legendary outdoors party Sounds on Sunday, Kink and Sublime at Home. Along the way Shamus has also been blessed to play alongside the who’s who of international house – Erick Morillo, Axwell, Jacques Le Cont, Felix Da Housecat, Roger Sanchez, Kaskade, Dimitri From Paris & Bob Sinclar to name a few. Shamus’ new production project Silverscreen has just released their first song F IS FOR… on Bam Bam Muzik and has also recently remixed Ron Carroll’s ‘Nike Song’ and House of Glass ‘Stone Fox Chase’ for Central Station records. Individually, Shamus has also mixed three Ministry of Sound compilations for Australia – including Alfresco Soiree and Chalet Soiree. His original track ‘Liftoff’ was signed to breakout UK house label CR2 and featured on their United Nations of House mix CD.
