Arno Cost is one of France’s most talented up-and-coming music producers. Arno defined his style with the hit track ‘Magenta’, composed alongside Arias (who originally signed with Serial, then with Kontor, CR2 and Airplay). Their song garnered support from top DJ talent, including Pete Tong, Tom Novy, Ian Carey and Sebastian Ingrosso. First released in December, 2006, it became one of the most-played tunes at the Amsterdam Dance Event, and coupled with a storming remix by Dave Spoon the track reached dizzying heights in 2007.
Music has always fascinated Arno. At a very early age his parents immersed him in pop music and disco, and he first began producing in 1999. His influences and inspiration include all manner of music, from disco and Italo-disco, to “The French Touch” (Daft Punk, Alan Braxe, Philip Zdar), to modern day heroes such as Stuart Price, Axwell, Lifelike and Eric Prydz. Remixes for David Guetta, Laidback Luke and Dirty South are coming soon. Stay tuned!
Arno Cost visits Australia this month, playing the Freedom Festival in Sydney on Saturday August 23rd.
