Thank you for taking the time to read my bio of sorts.
Things that are important to me include my family, passion, love, positive attitudes, loyalty, friendship, music, a sense of self, Peace, good times, cuddles, vinyl, humour, nature, perspective, patience, talent, individuality, achieving goals, life, opportunities and many many more things that blink in the night.
In 2004 I joined one of Australia’s longest running underground event & touring companies, Sweetchilli (www.sweetchilli.com.au). Sweetchilli have been running quality club events for over 9 years through out Sydney. In 2003 Sweetchilli expanded to boast a touring arm that now tours some of the worlds highest profile DJ’s through out the Australasian region and puts on their events here in Sydney.
In 2005 I started my own DJ and event management company (Thug Management) which has looked after some of Australia’s cooler club DJ’s such as Mark Murphy (Spank Records/ Fuzzy/ Big Day Out), Robbie Lowe (Sweetchilli/ Renaissance/ We Love Sounds), N_Zed (BEEF), Tim Jirgenson (Night Drive Music), Adam Jace (plastic city) and Tim Culbert (Proton Radio). In April 2007 I started Thug Nights; a label night for the brand. The night has played host to an array of solid house, minimal and techno artists including deepchild, Jimi Polar, Luke Fair (Canada), Petter (border community) and of course the Thug roster of artists. In mid 2008 Thug Records launched on the back of EP’s from Adam Jace, Tim Jirgenson and myself.
On the DJ front I have held down an ongoing 3 year residency with Sweetchilli, a 6 month residency @ Home night club for the launch of Famous, played at the Future Music Festival 2008 and also an array of leading underground club nights through out NSW including ACTION, The Chinese Laundry and Bread & Butter. Some of my highlights include playing alongside international artists such as Extrawelt, Paolo Mojo, Ripperton, Petter, Luke Fair, Supermayer, Lee Burridge and Abe Duque.
