Melbourne DJ/producer Simon Vincenzi has been biding his time over the last two years, slowly releasing his brand of production to the house community. Last year he was signed to Belgium’s newest house label, A Second Smell; sister label to the already infamous Aroma recordings, and now has a number of Australian releases under his alias Desperate House Guy. His style of house is rich and fairly expressive, often cut-up and with disco influences. His last two Australian releases made the top five most popular purchases on the online house music store, stompy.com.
