Luciano gracefully dives into the swelling, playful sounds of summer with a beautifully sublime and rhythmic mix for the Fabric label. Warm, colourful house beats connect the dots between the dazzling elements of Defected, Soma, Strictly Rhythm, Planet E, KMS and Luciano’s own imprint, Cadenza. Varied and vivid, Luciano’s productions and DJ sets reflect his rich, multi-cultural background, with origins in both Switzerland and Chile. Luciano’s mixed Swiss and Chilean identity shows in his music, a somewhat mystical blend of deep techno and electro that integrates southern elements in rhythms and colorful patterns in sound.

Seduced by music at an early age, Luciano started out by playing various instruments, and eventually began DJing and organising parties in Santiago, Chile. As leading lights in Santiago’s developing scene, Luciano and his best friend Andy Schopf promoted the largely successful Sense Club and Encuentros con la Technocultura, while also collaborating with people outside of the city (including fellow Chileans Dandy Jack, Senor Coconut and Ricardo Villalobos), undoubtedly becoming some of the most important instigators in Latin American electronica.

With beginnings as a DJ and promoter, Luciano soon found himself producing, landing his first release on Detroit’s legendary Transmat imprint. He has since released to huge critical acclaim on Mental Groove, Perlon, Klang Electronic, Playhouse and Bruchstuecke, to name but a few. Luciano’s own label, Cadenza, has proved to be a veritable force in the electronic music world, with stunning releases from Ricardo Villalobos, Locodice, Guido Schneider, Rhadoo and Digitaline.
