Sweden’s latest phenomenon, Samuel L Session will be performing at Melbourne’s Darkbeat on October 10 and at Sydney’s Chinese Laundry on October 11. Samuel L Session is a producer that needs no introduction to Techno fans around the world. Samuel has been recently busy remixing for some of the best labels and artists, one being Kevin “The Elevator” Saunderson. With his rework of Black Gold he proved once again to be one of the best producers around, bringing us an energetic and obscure reinterpretation that’s as much uplifting as the original.
He quickly became a known face at various clubs and events around the world through his breakthrough record, “In Your Box” and his following release, “Check Out This I Bring” which made him an even more reputable producer. After founding his labels Cycle and SLS, he released “New Soil”, a double pack filled with warm, more melodic grooves. The first track,”Velvet”, became a hit on the floors and were soon hailed as a classic. He was also invited to do a remix of “Visions of You” by Blake Baxter & Trevor Rockcliffe. When “Merengue” came out, it became one of his best sold records ever.
Samuel has performed at various popular hot spots around the world and has never disappointed an Australian crowd with his loopy and classic sounding Techno.
