Effin See started DJing in his garage annoying my neighbours just before his 30th birthday in September 2006. It wasn’t until January/February 2007 that he was invited to play his first set at a mate’s beach party, which due to terrible weather was moved indoors to the now defunct Tilt Nightclub in Melbourne. From these humble beginnings he has been lucky enough to receive invitations to play alongside a stack of his favourite DJs at some of Melbourne’s best clubs and festivals. He won a competition to play at Darkbeat’s 4th Birthday and the Earthcore Global Carnival in 2007. He has also held a rotating residency at Risque at Circus and also with Plush and Intermission at the Element Lounge. He plays a mixed blend of techno, tech-house, progressive, minimal and deep dark twisted shit.
