Atomic Hooligan fuse electro, indie, hip hop and breaks with ease, truly trying to push the sound further. Their album ‘Sex, Drugs & Blah Blah Blah’ is a step beyond their last; with new vocalists, new live instrumentation, and a new outlook on music, the Hooligans have outdone themselves again.
After gracing the cover of DJ Mag in 2006, Atomic Hooligan have grown from strength to strength. The live show has rocked heads from Glastonbury to The Secret Garden festival amongst other major festivals and clubs all over the UK, Europe and Japan. And the DJ schedule has been non stop, as 2007 saw them rock parties in Japan, China, New Zealand, Brazil, Australia, Russia, Canada and all over the UK and Europe including regular spots at the worlds most admired club Fabric.
Their hectic DJ schedule has always been due in part to the guy’s impressive remix catalogue. More recently remixing for the likes of Groove Armada, Tomcraft, The James Brown Band and Sony rock hopefuls Dune as well as past outings with their multiple manipulations of classic Underworld tracks, including the firm favourite Born Slippy. They also put their guaranteed dance floor smash stamp of approval on ILS’s Lovin U.
With a whole bunch of fresh music about to be unleashed and a DJ and live schedule which is already looking very busy over the next 6 months, the Hooligan phenomenon continues to spread. The future is bright, the future is Atomic!
