While his enthusiasm and movements behind the decks has often left punters wondering what he is on and where can they get some; Dave Juric isn’t a shrinking violent. An avid fan of dance music first, and DJ second always means that patrons will witness someone who is deadest passionate about what he is doing.
Rising out of a scene that produced legendary DJs and producers such as Phil K and Nubreed and Infusion, who were his early influences, Dave quickly grew fond of the dark and deep sounds that Melbourne is renowned for and with the guidance and support of Darkbeat’s very own Rollin Connection, Dave has quickly established himself as one of Melbourne’s most promising and celebrated up-and-comers.
Playing whatever the night may require from him, his ego doesn’t take over and is just as comfortable playing a deep tech-house warm up for DJ’s such as Guy J and Jono Fernandez to playing more progressive peak time sets supporting and closing for DJ’s such as Lee Burridge, DJ Three, Anthony Pappa, Tayo and Rennie Pilgrem.
Over the last 12 months Dave has been involved in running some of Melbourne’s more successful developing nights such as Symphonic Tonic and Dynamic, Discourse/Planet 3030 and The Clarity, who recently celebrated their 1st bday with Melbourne favourites Gav Keitel and Rollin Connection supporting. With even more planned over the following months, it’s easy to see that the future is looking bright for this young individual.
