This efficacious lady was born in Melbourne and has been working the Melbourne club circuit for 4 years. In July 2008 Cherokee successfully completed her first International DJ Tour. “Embracing Earth” was a 9-week tour, with a total of 24 performances in the European summertime on the Greek Islands of Mykonos, Zakynthos, Lemnos and Lesvos. In Mykonos, Cherokee performed at the world renowned Cavo Paradiso. A club that hosts international artists from around the world, every night throughout the June, July and August summer season. Cherokee also performed at Space Nightclub and Bolero Bar in Mykonos. In Zakynthos, Cherokee performed to crowd numbers of more than 1000 people. She wowed the crowds with her performances at the famous White Party’s held on Cameo Island, Lagana and also played at numerous other venues on the island of Zakynthos.
Cherokee performs locally in Melbourne, in the nightlife and corporate scene, weekly on radio, with her own show “Cherry” on Kiss FM Australia. Cherokee is able to draw on her vast experience in the music industry; she is also recognised in the business of music through her work at the following companies: Yamaha Music Australia, Soundcorp Melbourne, Vinyl Warning Melbourne and Kiss FM and Street FM. Cherokee’s weekly radio show “Cherry” Radio broadcasts weekly via Kiss FM Australia Melbourne on FM frequency 87.6 – 88.0 and delivers a weekly hit of subliminal sounds of Soulful House, Chic Disco House, Funky House, Latin Grooves, Afro Percussive Beats and High Energy House Music.
