SCSI-9 are the pioneers of Russian minimal sound, the godfathers of what is now known as Russian deep, active supporters of the vinyl culture and masters of live performances. Over the years of their career they have played the best venues of the world – Fabric, Panorama Bar, D-Edge, Solyanka, and others – and the most famous electronic festivals – Monegros, Transmediale, R.A.D.A.R and Wilsonic. They have also appeared as headliners of such global festival brands as Fortdance and Global Gathering. Their records are played by many influential DJs around the globe, Francois Kevorkian, Michael Mayer, Gabriel Ananda and Craig Richards being among them.

SCSI-9’s discography has grown to more than 30 vinyl’s published by Force Tracks, Traum/Trapez, Neuton, Tyrant, Freizeitglauben, Kompakt and other labels. Their outstanding live gigs as a duo or trio – together with the singer Katya Ryba, or as a quartet – when the bass guitar player Anton joins them – continually reaffirm their impeccable reputation as a band that is able to show its best at an electronic party of any possible format. Starting with an atmospheric ambience and developing it into the thick techno beat that causes dancefloor madness, their live performances are invariably an unforgettable and unique experience.
