Out of a small town recognized for its fine wines and laid back ways reins an artist who’s determination to succeed in music has taken him on one hell of a ride across to every corner of this country and now across every continent of the globe. Balancing a busy schedule of constant touring, live performances, studio work and record release deadlines, Dr Willis is a busy man.

David Willis AKA ‘Dr Willis’ hails from Margaret River in Western Australia where he balanced hobbies of surfing and DJing enjoying the best of what the west has on offer, the sun, the fun and good friends. But being a little too laid back for a man on a mission, The Dr’s desire for music became to strong for the tiny town and he would pack his bags and head for the big smoke choosing Melbourne, arguably Australia’s capital city of musical talent. It was not long before he would take off, earning residency DJ spots at the finest clubs and events almost immediately playing regularly at Hard Kandy, Pharmacy and all the A- list of outdoor festivals that Melbourne has to offer.
