Winners of our recent Future Music Festival DJ Comp, Sydney DJ outfit Hey Now were flown to Brisbane for the biggest weekend of their life recently. Playing the opening set at Doomben Racecourse, the boys made the most of the ‘once in a lifetime’ opportunity.

They sent us through a photo diary of the weekend, and you can check it out now. Rubbing shoulders with Steve Angello, Sebastian Ingrosso and Mr Oizo, chillin’ out backstage, AAA passes… it certainly looked like one hell of a weekend. Check out the pics to see what went down on their epic journey!

Hey Now also recorded their set on the day, and you can hear it now on ITM-FM to see how they did at the event!

i loved the craziness to be honest... quite a few good tracks in there too and the intro was quite slick and smooth; got a tiny bit overboard with using effects for the transitioning of songs... but overall quite nice for your first proper nervous set! gl

even an eclectic mix has gotta seem like its going somewhere. at times it felt like it was just shooting off in random directions. some good song choices though. congrats on making it at FMF.

Sounds to me like the set is written specifically to make for a good warm up set in a 'festival' atmosphere, hence the drawn out effects
