Sinden has indeed come a long way since a chance meeting with Felix Buxton of Basement Jaxx led to a residency at the band’s highly acclaimed Inside Out club nights in Brixton. After Switch took him under his wing in 2006, Sinden caught our attention through the co-produced originals ‘Din Da Da’, ‘Me Mobile’ and ‘Red Hot’, which along with remixes of Lady Sovereign, Bugz in the Attic and Radioclit, brought to light the facetiously-termed “fidget house” sound.

2007 saw Sinden team up with Joshua Harvey aka The Count / Herve / Voodoo Chilli, and together these 2 East-Londoners have revolutionized the UK underground scene through club heavy-hitters ‘Tamborzuda’, ‘Beeper’ and more recently ‘Hardcore Girls’ (feat. Rye Rye), and a string of high-profile remixes for Aquasky, Mark Ronson, Estelle, Toddla T and Alphabeat. Couple this with countless tours across the globe with the likes of A-Trak and the Fools Gold family, Steve Aoki and Boys Noize, running his ‘Get Familiar’ night at London-institution Fabric and the more recent release of his Fabric Live 43 compilation and it’s plain to see that our boy “G” has made the transition from underground talent to bona fide star.

Sinden continues his tour of Australia with Fake Blood this weekend:
