I’ve been passionate about dance music for the last 17 years and decided that it was time to give up being a punter by trying life on the other side of the decks as a DJ. In May 2006 I bought decks, locked myself in a room for 8 months and taught myself how to mix. At the age of 34, becoming a DJ at one point was only a dream but persistence and a firm belief in myself saw me score my first opportunity in March 2007 playing at Interview vs Push alongside Ben Evans at Tilt bar in Melbourne. From that point my hunger for playing more gigs grew and I went on to have an awesome first year.

In the short time I’ve been playing I have supported international acts such as Mark Sherry, JOOF, Marcel Woods, Scott Project, Tyuoshi Suzuki, Dave the Drummer, Eskimo and Fatali. I hold 3 residencies for nights such as Interview, Nexus and Substance with possibly more to come in the future. So far 2009 has been awesome for me with opportunities on offer all the time. I’m thoroughly enjoying myself out there and hope to see as many of you as possible gracing the dance floors of Melbourne.
