Only 19, this young Producer & DJ from the Central Coast (NSW) is certainly making a name for himself and gaining all kinds of attention for both his energetic DJ sets and original productions.
Preferring to consider himself unbound to a specific genre, Northie’s sets tend to journey through production in hip hop, funk, breaks, house, tech, electro and beyond..all with a simple goal to keep feet dancing and ensure listeners maximum party time. Coming from a multi-instrumentalist and songwriting background, Northie was first discovered in FBi radio’s “Underage Sets” – an under 18’s dj competition in which he succeeded as a finalist 3 years in a row.
Since turning legal Northie has quite a few accomplishments to brag about including prolific club residencies, his first festival set, original production releases and plenty of remixes, not to mention the other credible achievements including stepping in as co-host of Beatbox Radio alongside the Vacation Records crew, launching a bunch of club nights in his hometown with the “Brain Matters DJs” and gaining a variety of press worldwide.
Along the way Northie has garnered the support and recognition both locally and internationally from the likes of Bass Kleph, Malente, dopamine, fRew, Vandalism, Marcus Knight, Miami Horror, Jeff Drake, Chris Fraser, WoNk, Dj Dan, Donald Glaude, Kid Kenobi, Losty, Signal Drivers, Stereo Heroes, the Potbelleez and many, many more.
