2009 sees the Dr step things up even further both at home and abroad! In July he returns to both super festivals Dance Valley Holland and Nature One Germany to bigger and better time slots for the third and second time consecutively. While in Europe he also takes on a series of club gigs in Ireland, Wales and Germany plus his return to Kiddstock. Not bad with no clever marketing teams behind him or a continuous barrage of publicity stunts every time wind is broken. Hard work is the name of the game at camp Willis and that’s only just the start of things to come.

Both Freefall and Rockstar his 2 new labels have come out of the gates with performance enhancing like race starts. Rockstar is on release 3 and has already topped numerous charts and appeared on compilations with Q Dance/ Defqon1, Goodgreef, Ministry of Sound UK and is not about to slow down with the next 4 releases looking even bigger. Not content with one label, Freefall 12 months in the making is starting to spread its wings. Part record label, part club and event concept and all about the music on the more melodic side. With 2 sell out events in Bali to over 3000 people, arenas at Trance Energy’s recent Australia tour and a record label that’s already gained Marcus Shultz, Armin Van Buuren and many others as its some of its fan base. Freefall 002 (Dr Willis & Junkyard Dog feat. Antonia Lucas) is in stores Tuesday June 9th with appearances on one of Armadas next compilations, Radio 1 plays & that’s after a short promo run to just a select few Djs. This looks to take the Dr’s audience even further abroad with his first vocal release outside of his normally quite tough and underground sound, something that he has wanted to work with as a producer for some time now.

His compilation (cd 2 of Generation Next) with tyDi last year was awesome. Easily one of the year's best.
